Mustangs Close out XC Regular Season at Emmanuel

BOSTON, Mass. – Mount Ida's men's and women's cross country teams travelled to Franklin Park on Friday afternoon for the final regular season meet of the year as they ran at the Emmanuel College Invitational.

The women turned in a 14th place showing, while the men took 15th place in their field.

Emily Bernotas (Fall River, Mass.) led the Mustang women by placing 78th in the pack of almost 150 runners. Bernotas ran the 5K course in 24:12, while right behind her was Nicole Keenan in 82nd place (24:21).

Anna Hogle ran third for the Mustangs, in a time of 26:02, good for 116th place.

For the men, whose course was a touch short of 8k, Jabari Bradley and Ryan Trnque finished next to each other in 143rd/144th place, with Bradley running in 38:20.

Danny Ortiz (37:36) also scored points with a 151st place finish for Mount Ida.

The Mustangs will now turn their attention to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) championships, which will be run on November 5th
