The following are some steps you can take to help in the recruiting process:
1. Complete our Recruiting
Questionnaire. Fill out the recruiting form (below)
in its entirety so we will have your information on hand. Feel free
to contact Head Coach Anthony DiMaio at adimaio@mountida.edu or 617-928-4731 with any
questions.

information you will need to start the transfer
process.
2. Come
visit. Make a visit to
campus with your parents. Contact Coach DiMaio with some
anticipated dates. Coach DiMaio will confirm availability,
which will then allow you the chance to schedule a campus tour and
admissions interview through our Admission’s Office at
617-928-4553. Coach DiMaio and his staff are available throughout
the year and are happy to meet with prospects and their families in
the cross country office. Please anticipate spending about three
hours during a complete visit.
3. Send a video or YouTube
clips. Send a highlight
tape if you have one of you running in a competitive environment.
We can't get out to see every prospect, but looking at a tape
or YouTube clips of you allows us at least something to go on,
which may be helpful in evaluating your ability to compete at Mount
Ida.

4. See the team
play. Check out the
schedule and come watch the team compete. Send Coach DiMaio an
email in advance at adimaio@mountida.edu or call him at
617-928-4731 so either he or his staff can meet you at the end of
the meet.
The Process: The
women's cross country staff attends games and tournaments
throughout a prospect’s junior and senior years. This allows
us to establish a positive relationship and rapport with the
prospect as well as her family and evaluate their growth and
development as a player.
