The Mount Ida College women's volleyball team captured a 3-0 victory sweeping host Lesley University in non-league action Thursday evening in Cambridge, Massachusetts by scores of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-11.  The Mustangs improve to an overall record of 8-7 and remain at 2-2 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

Mount Ida was led offensively by senior captain Rachelle Gilbert (Corunna, IN/Dekalb) with eight kills with only one error on 18 attempts also adding six digs.  Mustang junior hitter Jennifer Ferreira (Shirley, MA/Ayer) tallied six kills with seven digs and a service ace while senior setter Cody Fusco (San Francisco, CA/San Francisco Waldorf) dished out a team high 10 assists and eight digs. 

The Mustangs will travel to GNAC member Albertus Magnus College this Saturday with game time slated for 1:00 p.m.
