The Mount Ida College women's volleyball team captured their third consecutive victory to start the week against hosting non-conference Regis College winning 3-2 by scores of 25-21, 19-25, 18-25, 25-12, and 15-11 in Weston, Massachusetts Tuesday evening.  The Mustangs improve to 8-3 overall and remain at 1-0 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) standings.

Mount Ida was led offensively by senior captain Chelsea Darnell (Dublin, OH/Dublin Scioto) with 21 kills on 34 attempts with two errors and 10 digs.  Sophomore's Christine Gallart (Germantown, MD/St. John's College HS) and Jennifer Ferreira (Shirley, MA/Ayer) added four kills a piece combining four 10 digs with Gallart chipping in two solo blocks.

Mount Ida College senior captain Kira Feeter (Keene, NH/Keene) led the Mustangs in assists with 18 and seven digs while junior setter Cody Fusco (San Francisco, CA/San Francisco Waldorf) added 16 assists and three service aces.
