Jennifer Duffy is in her fourth season as the pitching coach on the Mount Ida softball staff for the 2017 season.

Duffy graduated from Merrimack College in 2000, and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration while playing softball for four years. As a pitcher, Duffy posted a 76-20 career record (.791 win percetnage), while leading her team to three consecutive NCAA Regional titles and also competing at the NCAA Nationals three times.

At the 2000 Nationals, Duffy tied a 17-year-old record by throwing a no-hitter and was a two-time All American during her playing career.

The former Jennifer Connolly holds numerous Merrimack softball records, including victories in a single season (30 in 1999), innings pitched in a season (240.7 in 2000) and is third all-time in strikeouts in a season (151 in 2000). She also ranks second all-time in career victories (72), fourth in career innings pitched (617.7), fourth in career strikeouts (381), and fourth in career ERA (1.43).

Duffy resides in Carver, MA with her husband, Mike and two daughters, Madelyn and Abigail.
