    The Mount Ida College Men’s Soccer team traveled to Suffolk University this past Saturday for another Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match up. They came home suffering their fourth loss in conference play making their record 8-6-2 overall, and 4-4-1 in the GNAC.

    Matt Gill (Winfield, KS/Garden City C.C.) took a cross from the right hand side and finished the ball beautifully past the keeper to give Mount Ida College (7-4-1, 3-2-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference) a 4-3 victory over Emerson College (9-4-1, 2-3-0 GNAC) in men's soccer action. Gill's goal came 4:36 into the overtime stanza off an assist from Hermes Lima (Fr., West Roxbury, Mass).

    The Mustangs Men’s Soccer team hosted Johnson and Wales University on a sunny day on the campus of Mount Ida College this Wednesday. The Wildcats would take the victory, bettering their season record to 5-2-3, 4-0 in the GNAC while the Mustangs drop to 6-4-1, and 2-2 in the GNAC.

    The Mount Ida College Men’s Soccer team hosted their second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game against Albertus Magnus College on a beautiful Saturday on campus. There were five yellow cards distributed, including one to the coach of Albertus for complaining about calls to the official.

    Adam Jensen (Boston, Mass.) broke a scoreless tie converting a Jean Demorcy (Jersey City, N.J.) cross pass 34 seconds into the second half and Brian Leighton (Turner, Maine) made four saves to record the shutout leading Mount Ida to a tight, 1-0 victory over host Daniel Webster Saturday in the GNAC men's soccer opener for both clubs.
