WESTON, Mass. -- Due to the heavy amount of snow surrounding the field, Saturday's men's lacrosse scrimmage between Regis and Mount Ida College will be closed to the public.

The Regis athletic department has asked that fans do not show up to the event for safety reasons.

Mount Ida men's lacrosse opens up their 2014 season next Wednesday when they host Salve Regina at 3:30 pm.
