NEWTON, Mass. -- Mount Ida sophomore Rebecca Levy (Plymouth, Mass.) has been voted the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias women's tennis Player of the Week.

This is the first time in the history of the women's tennis program that any player has received this award.

Levy led the Mustangs to two wins this week, earning double victories at first singles and first doubles against both Lesley and GNAC foe Anna Maria. She also secured the lone point in an 8-1 loss at Curry with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at #1 singles. Levy dropped just seven games in six sets at singles this week.

Levy and the Mustangs are back in GNAC action this Saturday when they travel to Boston to matchup against the Rams of Suffolk University with first serve set for 1:00.
