Saturday, October 13, 2012 (Newton, Massachusetts) - The Mount Ida College women's tennis team dropped another 8-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to visiting Johnson & Wales University Saturday afternoon in Newton, Massachusetts.  The Mustangs fall to 1-12 for the 2012 season and remain winless at 0-6 in league acton. 

1. Ansley Sego and Gabe Longo (JWU) defeated Kayla Horton and Leslie Campbell (Mount Ida) 8-1

2. Darcy Prdeiri and Joanna Kaskiw (JWU) defeated Anna Padilla and Despina Najarian (Mount Ida) 8-0

3. Jen Castro and Amanda Goddard (Johnson Wales) defeated Jordawn Moses and Julia Pagliuca (Mount Ida) 8-1

1. Kayla Horton (Mount Ida) defeated Laura Schenk 5-5 (JWU retired)

2. Steph Piperis (JWU) defeated Jordawn Moses (Mount Ida) 6-0, 6-0

3. Darcy Predeiri (JWU) defeated Julia Pagliuca (Mount Ida) 6-1, 6-0

4. Gabe Longo (JWU)defeated Leslie Campbell (Mount Ida) 6-3, 6-1

5. Ellie Sammelbraun (JWU) defeated Anna Padilla (Mount Ida) 6-0, 6-0

6. Amanda Goddard (JWU) defeated Despina Najarian (Mount Ida) 6-0, 6-0

Mount Ida women's tennis will have their final match of the season at GNAC member the University of St. Joseph (CT) Monday afternoon in New Haven, Connecticut starting at 4:00 p.m.
