Morganna Passano was named an assistant women's basketball coach prior to the start of the 2017 season. Pasanno, a standout player at Newbury College from 2008-2012, will be working primarily with the point guards this season. Pasanno brings a number of years of experience at the high school level to the Mustangs and will look to use her local ties to integrate the Mustangs with many local schools. After a successful year working with Durfee High School, Pasanno returned to her alma mater Attleboro High School and helped lead the Bombadiers to a successful 2013-2014 season. 

A Business Management major, Pasanno enjoyed a terrific career with the Nighthawks playing under then head coach Katie Greene. Pasanno was involved in a variety of leadership opportunities during her time at Newbury, including acting as an orientation leader for three years. Her leadership skills continued on the court as she was named a co-captain her senior season and led the Nighthawks potent offensive attack as the starting point guard.

Pasanno currently works at Dick's Sports Goods as an assistant store manager. She lives in Attleboro, Mass. with her husband, Jared.
