Mount Ida College women's basketball senior Cherie Parisi (South Attleboro, MA/Attleboro) has eclipsed another milestone in her career as a Mustang surpassing 500 rebounds for her career as part of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.  Parisi's freshman season the program was a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) where she averaged 7.2 boards a game with 179 total boards for the year.  The past three seasons as a member of the GNAC, Parisi has collected 557 total rebounds putting her in an elite group of GNAC women's basketball players.  Parisi has compiled 736 rebounds for her entire career with her best season coming her sophomore year when she pulled down 247 boards for the season. 

During the final contest of the season last year with 8:51 left in the first half against Suffolk University, Parisi made a free throw for her seventh point of the game and 1,000 of her career as a part of the women's basketball program. She is the third Mount Ida College women's basketball player to break the 1,000 point threshold.
