New Haven, Conn. -- The Mount Ida College men's soccer team fell the Falcons of Albertus Magnus 1-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Columbus Day afternoon.

Sophomore forward Matt Mueller (Cheshire, Conn.) scored his third goal of the season as the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team defeated visiting Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Mount Ida College on Monday afternoon.

Albertus held a 15-3 shot advantage in the opening half along with a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.  Sophomore forward Alex Zapata (Hamden, Conn.) played a corner kick then dummied the ball to Mueller who found the back of the net in the 34th minute for the only goal of the afternoon.
