NEWTON, Mass. -- For the second time since joining the team after the new year, freshman forward Ethan Dujon (Warwick, R.I.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, this time for the week ending February 2nd.
Dujon averaged 18.5 points per game over two contests this week, pouring in a career high 22 points in a road game against Rivier. The rookie followed that up with a 15-point performance against Suffolk, in which he shot 42 percent from the field and hit two three-pointers.
Dujon has now scored double-digits in five straight games, and in nine of the ten games he has played in as as Mustang.
Dujon is averaging 13.6 points per game for the season and has five blocks and nine steals.
He will lead Mount Ida into a home date with GNAC rival Saint Joseph's (ME) on Wendesday at 6:00 pm at Mount Ida Athletic Center.
