Mount Ida College football sophomore running back Chris McNally (Bourne, MA/Bourne) has been named this week’s Mustang-of-the-Week by the Mount Ida Athletic Department.  This is the first time McNally has been recognized this season in any capacity. 

McNally led the offensive ground attack for the Mustangs in a 52-28 Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) title victory this past weekend against hosting Castleton State College taking home their first league championship since joining the ECFC four seasons ago. 

McNally dominated the rushing game with 243 yards off 33 carries and two scores for his most impressive individual outing of the season propelling the Mustangs to the ECFC Title. 

With the win, Mount Ida football will venture into their first ever NCAA post-season tournament appearance since the program’s inception in 1999 this Saturday against hosting Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.
