Men's soccer sophomore sweeper Hayato Kanesaka (Old Tappen, NJ/Northern Valley) scored the game winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe St. Joseph's College (ME) this past Wednesday.  This was the Mustangs fourth conference victory of the season currently landing them in fourth place in the GNAC standings for 2008.  Kanesaka, who netted the go ahead goal in the 80^th minute, has been solid all season in the backfield.   This was his first contribution on the scoreboard all year.  The Mustangs won't have any action until this coming Saturday at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut starting at 3:00 p.m.
