Moody Caps Career with Second All-Conference Nod

WINTHROP, Mass. – Mount Ida College senior Isabelle Moody (Naugatuck, Conn.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer All-Conference team for the second straight year as she ends an impressive four-year career as a Mustang.

As she did last season, Moody earned a spot on the Third Team, which was voted on by coaches throughout the conference and announced by Assistant Commissioner Michael Ghika on Monday afternoon.

Moody had arguably her best season as a Mustang this year, as her ten goals led the team in scoring for the second consecutive season. She was tied for sixth in the conference in goals, and also had two assists for a career-high 22 points.

Moody scored both of Mount Ida's goals in a 2-2 conference tie against Norwich early in her senior season, and also netted two goals on Senior Day, both on remarkable free kicks, where she showed a penchant for producing magic throughout her career.

Last season, Moody delivered game-winners in back to back contests, including producing the deciding goal in a 1-0 conference win over Anna Maria.

After spending her first two seasons as a defender, Moody transitioned to forward in her junior year and since then has amassed 22 career goals, good for eight all-time in Mount Ida history. She has 50 career points and is the program leader in shots attempted (218).
