NEWTON, Mass. – Ann Foley will join the Mount Ida Mustangs women's soccer staff as an assistant coach beginning with this fall's 2013 season.
She will join Head Coach Greg Hagan as the Mustangs set their sights on a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament appearance.
Foley has a year of college soccer coaching experience under her belt, as she recently served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Great Falls (Montana). Foley also served as Assistant Sports Information Director while obtaining a Master's Degree in Organizational Management.
She has coached soccer at Cohasset Sports Complex, for Norton High School and for Electric City Soccer Club, where she was the Head Coach of the U16 Select Girl's Soccer team.
Fitness and health training is another passion of Foley's, who is trained as a TRX Instructor, a PiYo Strength Instructor and a Zumba Instructor. She has taught Zumba at Answer is Fitness in North Attleboro, Mass., and at Easton Self Defense Academy.
A 2009 graduate of Franklin Pierce College with a degree in Business Management, Foley was a four-year starter for the Ravens, scoring eight goals and adding eleven assists in 81 games.
