Alex Berman joined the Mount Ida College women's basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2016 and serves as the lead assistant and recruiting coordinator for the program.

Berman came to the Mustangs from Wellesley College, where she spent four years as a member of the basketball team. She earned her Bachelor's of Arts with a major in history and a minor in education while competing with the Blue in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).

During her time at Wellesley, Berman was active in the Student Athlete Advisory Committtee (SAAC) and also worked with the sports medicine department and as a staff photographer for the Sports Information Director.

Originally hailing from Tucson, AZ, Berman now resides in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. Berman has recently accepted the position as Assistant Sports Information Director in addition to her roles with the women's basketball team.
