Morgan Kendrew begins her first season as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach under the direction of Head Coach Leah Lipschitz. Kendrew will aid Head Coach Lipschitz in all operations of team management throughout the season.
This is Kendrew's first experience as a coach at the collegiate level. She has been coaching at numerous basketball camps and clinics throughout Massachusetts since 2004 mostly in the Cape Cod area. This fall, Kendrew joined the AAU South Shore Wolfpack for grades five thru high school talent. Kendrew developed training programs for players to better harness their basketball skills and physical fitness. She would also assist the Head Coach during tournaments, games and practices.
Kendrew graduated from Brandeis University this past spring (2012) acquiring a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. She was a four year player for the Judges as a member of the women's basketball program leaving with a very impressive playing resume. She received the Brandeis Max I Silber Award in 2012 as the Most Outstanding Female Athlete and was a two-time second team All-University Athletic Association Conference (UAA) player. She was also voted by her teammates and coaches as the program's Most Valuable Player her final year. Kendrew was named team captain her junior and senior seasons and aided in the Judges an Elite Eight appearance in 2009 in the NCAA Division III post-season tournament.
Kendrew is a coach-in-residence at Mount Ida College as well.
