Mustangs Part of Large Field at UMass Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Mount Ida College cross country teams ran at the large UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon in fields that featured teams from across all three divisions.

The men took in a 34th place finish against 255 competitors, while the women took 37th overall in a field which featured 272 runners.

Freshman Jessica Roberts (Mendon, Mass.) was again Mount Ida's top finisher, placing 181st in a time of 21:40.98. Emily Bernotas (Sunderland, Mass.) was not far behind, closing her day in 22:57.46, good enough for 221st place.

Jabari Bradley (Farmingdale, N.Y.) led the men's squad with a 227th place showing, finishing the 8k race in 33:03.67.

The Mustangs will race in Chicopee, Mass. on Saturday at the Elms College Invitational.
