NEWTON, Mass. – Mount Ida College men's lacrosse senior midfielder Zach Rosen (East Greenwich, R.I.) was recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) today as a member of the GNAC All-Conference Second Team. This is the first GNAC All-Conference award that Rosen has collected in his four year tenure as a Mustang.
Rosen led the Mustangs with 37 points in 2014 while amassing 21 goals and 16 assists. Rosen's goals and assist totals were good for second on the team during the 2014 campaign.
Rosen's final season in a green and white uniform also saw him enter the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse record books as the 13th member of the 100 Point Club. In his last home game as a Mustang, Rosen entered the game with 96 career points needing just four more to enter the prestigious club. Rosen finished his last home game with four points on three goals and an assist against Anna Maria. Rosen added to his career total, in his last game as a Mustang by tallying his final point of his career against Norwich University in a GNAC quartefinal matchup in Northfield, Vermont in the 2014 GNAC tournament.
In Rosen's four year career as a member of the green and white he amassed a total of 101 points on 57 goals and 44 assists.
