NEWTON, Mass. -- On Tuesday, February 14th, please join the Mount Ida White Ribbon Campaign where we as a community pledge to end violence against women. The campaign will start on Valentine's Day at the Men's Basketball game at 7PM.
This campaign is a global movement working to end male violence against women and girls. To show your support for the campaign's mission, we invite all Mount Ida fans to participate in a "White-Out" by wearing white to the game.
White ribbons will be available for people to wear and you can pledge your support for this campaign by signing a banner at the game. Prior to the start of the game, the Men's Basketball team will lead us in the White Ribbon pledge of support.
Can't make it to the game? The banner can be signed and ribbons will also be available in the dining commons from 12-1PM on Wednesday, February 15th.
We look forward to seeing you in your white-out gear on Tuesday night. Please join us as Mount Ida pledges to end violence against women.
