WINTHROP, Mass. – Mount Ida freshman Lexi Minicucci (Westfield, Mass.) was recognized by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as the conference Rookie of the Week. Minicucci led Mount Ida to a 6-0 victory over Bay Path with a pair of goals, and then added a goal and an assist in a GNAC home contest against Anna Maria.
Minicucci is tied for the team lead with seven goals on the season while also being tied for the team lead with four assists. Minicucci is second in the GNAC in total points with 18.
The Mustangs will be back in action on Friday night in non-conference tilt when they take on Elms College with game time slated for 7:00 p.m.
