NEWTON, Mass. -- Mount Ida sophomore James Wolff (Yorktown, N.Y.) has been selected to the 2014 Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) All-Academic Team.
The team was announced on Wednesday afternoon by the conference office and commissioner Robb Modica.
Wolff, an applied forensic science major, is a two year member of the Mount Ida College offensive line. He started all 10 games this season after appearing in three games as a freshman.
In order to be recognized for the ECFC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have reached sophomore academic standing, have participated a minimum of two years with the team, and achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.
The Mustangs went 5-2 in the ECFC this season and came one win away from claiming their second ECFC conference title in the last three years.
