MIAMI, Fla. – Mount Ida senior Jawad Yatim (Shrewsbury, Mass.) is one of just six quarterbacks from across the country selected to participate in this year's National Bowl Game, an annual post-season all-star game for seniors from non-FBS schools.

Yatim, who was named All Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Honorable Mention this season, joins 120 other players from 30 states, representing over 400 Division 2, 3 and NAIA schools in a game that showcases All-American and All-Conference seniors from around the country.

Yatim threw for 114.9 yards per game with 97 completions, both good for third in the ECFC, and co-led the conference with 12 touchdown passes.

The 5th Annual National Bowl Game will be played at 10:00 AM on Sunday, December 7th, 2014, at Ocean Bank Field at FIU Stadium in Miami, on the campus of Florida International University.

The rosters gives NFL and CFL scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools over the bowl weekend. The National Bowl is coached by Brian Ferguson of the AFL's Jacksonville Sharks, who will head coach the Blue Nation, and pro arena coach Kevin O'Hanlon of the Trenton Freedom will head coach the Red Nation team.

Yatim will join Ferguson's Blue Nation team, along with representatives from local Division 3 schools MIT, Framingham State University, and Nichols College.

The game has scouts confirmed from the Miami Dolphins, St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, and 5 Canadian Football League (CFL) teams, as well as 10 AFL and arena teams, such as the Tampa Bay Storm, Jacksonville Sharks, and New Orleans Voodoo, making it the top Scouting weekend for Division 2, 3, and NAIA college seniors.

With its location in at FIU in Miami, the bowl weekend continues to gain scouts attention with great December sunny Florida weather. All 32 NFL teams receive and review the FCS Bowl film as the game and practice film are also exclusively distributed directly to all NFL teams by NFL Films.
