Skip started the men's volleyball program in 2005 and coached the team for two years before taking over as the Head Coach of the women's program. During his tenure as the woman's head coach, he held a 191-99 record over 10 seasons, and was selected as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Coach of the Year four times and as the Mount Ida College Coach of the Year twice. He led the Mustangs to 5 NAC Conference Championships and three NCAA and ECAC tournaments. Skip was a professional recruiter, truly cared for his athletes, and wanted to make Mount Ida the best place he could.
