Sally started at Mount Ida College in 1974 in the Athletic Department, formally the Physical Education and Recreation Department.  From 1975 to 1979 Sally was the Chair of the Department, as well as the program coordinator for Physical Education majors and Head Coach of the tennis and field hockey teams. 

In 1979, Sally moved to the Longfellow preschool, where she enhanced the curriculum with the addition of a Movement Education Program.  Sally is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Arts & Sciences.  She was the former Faculty Athletic Representative in the Mount Ida Athletic Department and is still a very strong supporter of Mustang Athletics.
